March Madness!

Yesterday was the start of the greatest sports event on the face of the Earth! There is no doubt that March Madness will again be the most exciting TV for the next few weeks. Forget about LOST, forget about The View, forget about The Office, forget about CSI, you can even forget about The Soup (I can't believe I just said that). None of these shows even come close to the drama of a small town school hitting a last second shot against a national powerhouse and ruining the brackets of millions of people around the world!

Thank goodness for Young Life giving all of its employees the day off for Good Friday so I could sit at home and watch Western Kentucky beat Drake on a last second 3 and San Diego beating heavy favorite UCONN in OT.

This year's Final Four will take place in San Antonio two weeks from now. According to my less than perfect bracket, Kansas will match up with North Carolina in one game with Texas taking on UCLA in the other semifinal.

Enjoy the Big Dance!

My First Meal!

Guess what! I ate food. Real food. I have been trying to steal it off my parents' plates for weeks and finally they got the clue. Granted, it wasn't as colorful as the stuff they eat, but I don't care. It was food! Check me out...

Here I am in my new bib... here we go!

It's a long way from this bowl to my mouth, and this stuff doesn't stay on there very well...

Bingo! I like my spoon!

Yummy!

Let's wash that down...

I slept so well last night after my feast. I hope I get it again today. And I overheard my mom say that I get to go see Dr. Schreuder tomorrow for my six month appt. I hope I don't get any shots!

My Latest Adventures.

Obviously, my parents are not very good at this whole blog thing, what with working and trying to keep up a social life between changing my diapers, attending to my very important eating and napping schedule (I like to keep em on their toes) and moving things out of my way in light of my newly mastered technique which I call the roll-grab-pull-and-drool. Oh ya, this is me. I am a pretty happy guy.

So, here is what I have been up to of late. A few weeks back, my parents and I and uncle Ty went up to Whistler.

(I am an international man.) It was pretty relaxing. They played this crazy board game where they traded wood and sheep (what's a sheep?) and tried to build roads. We were on a long road all the way there, so I am not really sure what the big deal was. The last day we were there, I showed my dad how quick I was when he was trying to change my diaper, but I am still working on my depth perception and sort of rolled off the bed. I cried for a minute but I was okay. I think my dad was more upset than I was. That rascal.

Oh, and here is the coolest. I have a new cousin! He is my size but has a lot more hair than I do. His name is Rusty Griswold Jamieson.

Uncle Ty doesn't use my changing pad for him though. He takes him outside to poop. (My parents are so much nicer.) I like Rusty.

My favorite thing lately is riding on people's shoulders.

Here is me with Big Papi...

and Uncle B...

and my daddy!

I'm kinda tired now. Time for a nap! Talk to ya later...

We're Back!

Hello all!

Here are a bunch of pics to get us back up to date and on with the blog! Thanks for your patience!

First off, we had a great time in Florida visiting the wonderful Whit and Steph... a relaxing 4 days filled with great company, a bit of golf, more than a couple Neiman Marcus chocolate chip cookies, some fabulous Florida juice and fun with Tuck!

We were then off to the Young Life All Staff Conference. The speakers were AMAZING, the fellowship time was invaluable and we laughed a LOT. The last evening, we got all dressed up for a yummy dinner and a surprise appearance from Jack Hannah! He even brought some snakes, an owl and an armadillo...

Last month, we had a great day at the Young Life Leadership day up in Everett. The new Young Life logo was revealed with the tag line: "You were made for this". and one of the speakers shared this simple but profound message: "Behold God beholding you, and smiling." Here is a shot of our fantastic, enthusiastic Young Life leaders!

Tuck has been having lots of fun with his buddies of late... Miles and he get along famously...

Erin and Nicholas come babysit while I tutor on Thursdays...

Tuck loves playing with Uncle Ty...(who is getting his new puppy tomorrow! A furry cousin is on the way!)

Little Blue Eyes loves anything MI... the basketball team is in the State Tournament... Go Islanders!

Superbowl Sunday (and a bday celebration for Dusty) was a blast at the Hamlin's. Tuck loves Kara...

and his toes!!

Lately, Tuck's favorite thing to do is jump in his jumparoo... hooray!

One exciting adventure that took place a few weeks back was a trip up to Deception Pass as a gift from the generous Garner family! Marshall took all of his Friday morning small group guys who will be graduating this year on a weekend getaway. What a treat!

Alright friends! We are back on track! Hope you enjoyed the whirlwind update... more to come soon!

love, the J's
